All about Rings:

A ring is a small circular band, typically of precious metal and often set with one or more gemstones, worn around the finger, or sometimes the toe; as an ornament or a token of marriage, engagement, or authority.

Rings can be symbolic, social or simply worn as an appreciation of beauty in function and are always a reflection of their time. Rings say a lot about their wearer, beliefs, taste and sense of style. They can be simple or ornate. There is a specific ring for a special occasion, not only women but men have rings like statement rings, engagement or wedding rings.

Your ring is a statement of your personal style. Modern, Classic or Vintage? Simple classic solitaire, or elaborate setting with side diamonds? Platinum, rose, white or yellow gold? IT’S YOUR STYLE – IT’S YOUR RING!

Wedding rings, engagement rings and signet rings are the most famous but there many other types of rings as well, meaningly described as follows:

Birthstone Ring : A ring featuring precious or semi-precious gemstones that are associated with the specific month of a person’s birth. A perfect way to make a ring more meaningful and personalized for its wearer.

Promise Ring: This ring is used to honor a pledge. A promise ring reflects a commitment between two people. It is the often the first official token of a serious relationship.

Engagement Ring: Given to a woman by a man when they agree to be married. Engagement rings are typically a beautiful gemstone (usually a diamond) set in a band. It tells the world that she is committed to her partner.

Wedding Ring: Traditions state that the wedding ring is worn on the left hand ring finger because there was thought to be a vein in the finger referred to as the “Vein of Love” that is connected to the heart. The circle of the wedding ring was the symbol of eternity, with no beginning or end.

Wedding Anniversary or Eternity Ring: A lady’s eternity ring is a band of precious metal. It is typically gold with a continuous line of identically cut diamonds or other gemstones to symbolize never-ending love. It is given by a husband to his wife on an a wedding anniversary.

Signet Ring: A signet ring is a ring that has letters; usually including an initial or a design carved into it. Signet rings are worn on the pinky finger.
